You may have the option of taking online classes at another UNC System institution.
UNC ONLINE
- Currently, enrolled students at UNC Charlotte may register for online courses at constituent institutions of The University of North Carolina system via the UNC System’s Online Academic Services page.
- UNC Online courses are billed through UNC Charlotte.
If you wish to participate in the UNC Online program, please review these details and eligibility requirements.
- Only degree-seeking students can participate in the program.
- UNC Online courses are billed through UNC Charlotte.
- All courses offered through UNC Online are 100% online courses.
- Once the grading process is complete for the term, grades will transfer automatically, at no cost. This usually happens the same day or the day following entry at that host campus.
- While this option is also available to graduate students, the UNC Charlotte Graduate School will require a paper or PDF transcript (at a cost to the student) from the host institution. Information can be obtained from the host campus regarding how to request, cost, and expected delivery times.
- Credit for the course is awarded on the student’s transcript as transfer credit from the host institution and does not calculate into the GPA.
